Privacy policy
Last updated: October 30, 2026
This policy explains what information Signal Marketing collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It covers our website, signalmarketing.net, our calls, texts and emails, and the products we run for businesses. By using our website or our products, you agree to this policy.
1. Who we are
Signal Marketing (“we,” “us” or “our”) is a business based in Utah. We set up and run AI products for businesses. They are the AI Voice Agent, the AI Receptionist, the Appointment Setter and the Review Engine. All four together are called Signal Front Desk.
“You” means anyone who visits our website or contacts us. It also means business owners who buy from us. We call them “clients.”
You can reach us any time. Our contact details are in section 15.
2. What we collect
What you give us
When you book a walkthrough, use our contact form, call us, text us, email us or buy from us, we may collect:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your phone number
- Your business name, and details you share about your business
- What you tell us on calls and in texts, chats and emails
- The topic and message you send through our contact form
- Billing details when you buy. Card payments are handled by our payment processor.
What our website collects on its own
When you visit our website, it and the tools behind it may collect:
- Your IP address and general location
- Your browser and device type
- The pages you visit and how long you stay
- The website or ad that sent you to us
Ad and campaign details
If you come to our website from an ad or a tagged link, the web address can include campaign tags and ad click IDs. Campaign tags look like utm_source or utm_campaign. Click IDs include fbclid from Meta, gclid, gbraid and wbraid from Google, and msclkid from Microsoft. Our booking and contact forms may save these with your booking or message, along with a Meta browser cookie called _fbp. We use them only to learn which ads work. On their own, they do not show your name.
3. How we use it
We use your information to:
- Set up your walkthrough, remind you about it and hold the call
- Answer your questions
- Set up, run, check and support the products you buy
- Send service messages, like booking confirmations, reminders and account updates
- Bill you for what you buy
- Learn which ads and pages work, and make our website better
- Keep our website and accounts safe, and stop fraud
- Follow the law
We keep contacts, calendars, texts and emails in the software we use to run our business.
4. Text messages
This section covers our own text program, called Signal Marketing Alerts.
How you agree to texts
You can agree to get texts from us in three ways. You can check the text consent box on our booking form or our contact form. You can text us first. Or you can tell us in writing that we may text you. Agreeing to texts is optional. It is not a condition of buying anything. You can book a walkthrough or send us a message without agreeing to texts.
What we text
- Replies to your questions
- Confirmations and reminders for your walkthrough
- Updates about the products you buy, if you are a client
We send marketing texts only if you give separate consent for them. Agreeing to one kind of text does not sign you up for the other.
How often, and what it costs
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Ask your mobile carrier about your plan.
How to stop or get help
Reply STOP to any text to stop getting them. We will send one last text to confirm. After that, you will get no more texts from us unless you sign up again.
Reply HELP for help, or reach us at [email protected] or (385) 269-1035. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
We do not share your text consent
We do not share or sell your mobile number or text consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing. We never sell or rent your phone number, your choice to get texts, or your consent records. We never share them with anyone for their marketing or promotions.
5. Calls and AI
When you call us at (385) 269-1035, a person or our AI assistant may answer. Our AI agents always say they are AI.
Calls with us, including walkthroughs, may be recorded and transcribed so we can keep notes and improve our service. You can ask us not to record your call.
We use AI tools to help run our business, like tools that write call notes. Service providers run these tools for us (see section 7).
6. When we run products for your business
Our products handle information about our clients’ own customers. That means people who call, text or chat with a client’s business, fill out its forms, or get asked for a review. It can include names, phone numbers, email addresses, messages, call recordings and transcripts.
- We handle this information for the client, and we follow the client’s instructions.
- We use it only to run, check and tune that client’s products.
- We do not sell it, and we do not use it for our own marketing.
Our AI agents say they are AI. Calls they answer may be recorded and transcribed.
Each client is responsible for its own notices and consents where the law requires them. That includes a privacy policy on its own website, permission to text its customers, and notices that calls are recorded.
If you are a customer of one of our clients, please ask that business about your information first. We will help them answer you.
7. Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in these cases:
- Service providers. These are companies that help us run our business. They include our contact, calendar and messaging software, phone and text carriers, email delivery, AI providers, website hosting, payment processing and analytics. They get only what they need to do their work for us.
- Ad platforms. We share limited details to measure our ads, as section 8 explains.
- The law. We share information when a law, court order or government request requires it, or to protect our rights or someone’s safety.
- A business sale. If Signal Marketing merges with or is sold to another company, your information may move with the business.
- With your OK. Any other sharing happens only if you agree first.
All of the cases above leave out text messaging opt-in data and consent. We will not share this information with any third parties.
8. Cookies and ad measurement
Cookies are small files a website saves in your browser. We use them to make our website work and to see how people use it.
We may also use analytics and ad tools from companies like Google and Meta. These tools can set their own cookies. They help us count visits and see which ads bring people to us.
When you book a walkthrough or send us a message, we may send an ad platform a scrambled (hashed) copy of details like your email address. We may also send the ad click ID. This lets the platform tell us that an ad led to a booking or a message. We never send your text consent.
Your choices:
- Block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some parts of our website may not work as well without them.
- Change your ad settings in your Google account, and in your Facebook or Instagram ad preferences.
Our website does not respond to “Do Not Track” signals from browsers.
9. How long we keep it
We keep information as long as we need it for the reasons in this policy. That includes serving you, meeting legal and tax rules, settling disputes and enforcing our agreements. Client records stay while you are a client and for a reasonable time after.
If you ask us to delete your information, we will, unless the law requires us to keep it.
10. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- See it: ask for a copy of the information we have about you
- Fix it: ask us to correct information that is wrong
- Delete it: ask us to delete your information
- Limit it: ask us to limit how we use it
- Stop messages: reply STOP to any text, or use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email
To ask, email [email protected]. We may need to confirm who you are first. We will reply within a reasonable time, and as the law requires.
While you are a client, you will still get service emails about your walkthrough, your account and your products.
11. How we protect it
We take reasonable steps to keep your information safe. For example, we limit who can see it. Still, no website or system is perfectly safe, so we cannot promise your information will always be safe.
12. Children
Our website and products are made for businesses. They are not meant for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you think a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. When we do, we will post the new version on this page and change the date at the top. Please check this page from time to time.
14. Governing law
The laws of the State of Utah govern this policy, without regard to conflict of law rules.
